Our Services
The gifted services provided by Orchard Farm vary by age group, and
are outlined in a chart below. There are three service models:
Pullout services are those that remove a student from
the regular class setting so he or she can attend CATS class. The student
is excused from the regular classroom work that is missed during CATS class.
A Specialized Class means that the student is assigned "CATS class"
as part of his or her regular schedule. No alternate class is being missed.
The student takes CATS instead of reading.
Resource Services are minutes that are available to a gifted
student at his or her own choosing. This service is provided on an 'as needed'
basis, by appointment.
